The NFHS Foundation aims to manage a fund of real or personal property, utilizing its income solely for educational purposes within the confines of its articles of incorporation. It seeks to support the educational endeavors of the National Federation of State High School Associations and its state counterparts, fostering high school interscholastic athletics and performing arts.
The foundation endeavors to create a curriculum focusing on citizenship skills, integrating it into high school sports and performing arts, and promoting it through leadership conferences and coach training sessions. By disseminating information and funding research, it strives to enhance student safety in high school activities, while also providing grants to organizations and individuals to further educational initiatives in these realms.
